Oprah: A Biography by Kitty Kelley

I am like an Oprah fanantic!!! So when I heard that there was supposed to be a really good biography about her coming out, I was super excited. Nevertheless now I am not so sure. I have been hearing some negative feedback about the book. In addition to Oprah not giving permission for the book to be written, it can either go both ways:

1. The book will have tons of juicy secrets Oprah does not want to have publicly known.

2. The book will be full of lies.

What do you guys think? Should I read it?

I thought about reading it, but honestly, I think Oprah is one of the most open people out there. I feel like if there really was something to tell, she would have told it at this point. I'm saddened that her family members have stooped so low to make a few dollars, especially her father.

From what I've been hearing, there isn't much new information in it, most of the stuff is what she's already been open about.

But I do agree that it's sad her family would participate in it. It's her right to disclose what she wants.

I must admit I am intrigued, I don't know too much about Oprah's story. I guess I'll wait until she does it herself. It sounds like Kitty Kelley's past works have shown she isn't the most trustworthy of stories.

I'll read it if the library gets a copy but I wont be buying it
