2010 Summer Reading List

Here is my summer reading list:

Moby Dick (I am trying to read some books off the 1001 list and I am apart of a Reading Challenge - more about that tomorrow!)

Billy Graham: His Life & Influence by David Aikman (more about how I came to reading this book Wednesday!)

Book-A-Million have monthly book club meetings and June's book is the following: (Hopefully I can make it to the meeting - that would be fun to blog about!!) Still debating if I should count this one as a summer read because I have been reading it since my Vegas trip for Memorial Weekend.

There are books that I am reading (more like re-reading) because there sequels are coming out this fall!!!!! I cannot wait!

Waiting to Exhale

The Coldest Winter Ever

Midnight

I added these three books for no particular reason other than because I really want to read them now.

Sex and the City
The Carrie Diaries
48 Laws of Power

Finally I have the usual suspects (books I should finish a LONG time ago):

There are no children here

Your best life now

Think and grow rich

Technique of Close Reading

Lucrative Love

Too Blessed to be Stressed

The Autobiography of Malcolm X

Why we can't wait

Go tell it on the Mountain

So this is what I will be tackling for the summer. What about you? What is your summer reading list???

There is a sequel to Waiting to Exhale? Wow. I read every single one of Terry McMillan's books while in high school I'm such a fan.

I'll be reading The Carrie Diaries as well.

The Autobiography of Malcolm X is such a good read. I consider it a must-read for everyone.

Happy Reading!

@Booksnob:
Thanks! I am thinking about doing a weekly post about the challenge as well because I usually don't read books like this and it is truly challenging me. I just loved this idea!!! I am glad I found your blog!
