It's Friday! Book Blogger Hop!

Book Blogger Hop is a place for book bloggers to come together and find new blogs and reviews on books that one would not normally look at. Jennifer at Crazy For Books does it EVERY FRIDAY so take some time out and venture over to her page. It is an excellent way of putting yourself and your blog out there for people to find. I have found some great new blogs through the hop. The only thing Jennifer requires is that in order to add your link (your blog) on her site, your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews. Also, each week there is a question to answer so that other book bloggers and readers of your blog can get to know you a little better.

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:

WHAT'S THE ONE GENRE THAT YOU WISH YOU COULD GET INTO, BUT JUST CAN'T?

For some reason I CANNOT get into the whole Paranormal and Urban Fantasy craze.  How many books about Vampires can I possibly read?  LOL....  Now back in the day (teenage years) I was crazy about anything "V.C. Andrew", but after awhile the plot got to be predictable and my appetite for something more caused me to move on.  Now I like Anne Rice (she is from Louisiana also), "Interview with the Vampire" is one of my top 10 movies, and I just purchased the book to read, but after that I have no interest to read anything else of hers.

Hi! I'm sort of picky about my vampire books and I don't want to push any on you, but I'm a big fan of the Cat and Bones books(mostly because of Bones) by Jeaniene Frost. You might peruse them if you haven't already.

Following you now!

The vampire craze isn't my cup of tea either. Since last week's pie chart about where I get my books was so popular, I thought I'd share what types of books I do read. Please stop by to see which genres I don't typically read.

I used to love V.C. Andrews. I'd devour them soon as they release. But like you said, it was predictable and the same ole storyline just different surnames.

I wish I could get into the paranormal romance genre. The covers draw me in, but I can't get into the supernatural.
