It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

“It’s Monday! What Are You Reading”, (hosted by Sheila at Book Journey) is where book bloggers share what they plan to read for the week.

I have some books that I need to get current with.

I am a week behind, but I am preparing myself to get current this week.

I am sooo many weeks behind on this book that it is ridiculous!  I should be current and a post will be available for Laws 5-27 some time next week.

The three books below are books that have sequels.  My wish is to have all of them (6 in all) read by Labor Day.

I know I have been reading this book since JANUARY, but I really feel that I can finish it by the end of next week!  I am determined to get through it.

With this book being one of my favorites in high school, I cannot wait to get into this book again as well as the long awaited sequel that has been sitting on my bookshelf for months now.

For some reason I felt that I needed to read "Sex and the City" before starting on Candace Bushnell's YA book on Carrie's life.  Now that I am finish, I cannot wait to dive into this book.  I just hope that it does not let me down like the "Sex and the City" book did, but I will get more into that when I write a review.

Here are the books I am using while on my quest to being a better me!

Every night I read a chapter and after I meditate on what I read for the day.  I plan on reading one self-help book a month in order to become the BETTER me that I know I am capable of becoming!

Here are two books that I also read every night.  I am currently participating in a perpetual reading challenge to read the Bible in its entirety.

Lastly here are two books that I am reading but do not own or have in my possession.

If you are asking how am I possibly reading books that are not in my possession, its easy, READING THEM INSIDE THE BOOKSTORE!!  LOL!  Being that I am broke and cannot afford to buy books much less do and buy anything else, in order to get out of the house and find free activities, I go to the bookstore, find a nice place to seat and dive into a book!

So there we have it, ALL of the books that I am currently reading.  Please comment below about the books that I am reading and to shout out what you plan to read this week!!

What a great mix of books you have up for the next week! I'm definitely hoping to read some of Candace Bushnell's books sometime in the future as well.

Hope you have a fabulous reading week and if you get a second stop my to see what I've been reading at There's A Book! :)

@the1stdaughter: Love your site and thanks for stopping by!!

@Heather: I hate that you didn't like the sequel, but usually they are never as good as the first book.

@Shelia: Come join and participate in the Read-Along as we read roots. This is just week four and we are reading pages 400-500 (I am a week behind so I have to read 200 pages this week!!)

I read Roots about 25 or so years ago. My parents had a copy. This week I finished only library books and review copies. Please come see what I read.
