It's Monday, What are you reading? 10-10-11

"It's Monday! What Are You Reading?", (hosted by Sheila at Book Journey) is where book bloggers share that they read this last week and what they plan to read for the week.

Over at Goodreads, I participate in a group called 1001 Books You Read Before You Die.  Every month on the 15th, the group picks a book to read, and this month (11/15/11-11/15/11), the group selected Maya Angelou's "I Know Why the Cage Bird Sings".  This book has been on my reading list for some time now and cannot wait to dive into it and participate in the forums.

Quite enjoyed this book.  Was a fast and easy read.

STILL PUSHING THROUGH: (In order that I started reading them?

(started reading January 2011)

 (started reading April 2011)

(starting reading August 2011)

(starting reading August 2011)

Please comment on the books I am reading, and/or shout out your reading list for this week in the comment section.

I guess it was a pretty normal week of reading for me. Please come see what I've read.

Ok. If someone had asked me do I own "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" I would've said yes, and then I would've walked over to my bookshelf and walk past the all of the other flat surfaces where I have books lying and discovered that I just told a little white lie :-/

I want to participate in the forum on this book! I'll search again and see if I can find it. This book was on TIME magazines list of 100 Best Nonfiction books too!

I enjoyed John Adams and Waiting to Exhale.

I haven't heard of any of these, but it's good to know I'm not the only one who take some books slow. :)

That 1001 books to read before you die group sounds like a lot of fun. I'm sure there are a ton I haven't read yet, but should! Have a great week!
